United States Workshops – Newborn Posing – June 2017

Join Australian Silver award winning photographer, Rebecca Connolly, for her newborn posing Workshop Classes across the United States.  The 1 day Class will cover studio lighting equipment and techniques on how to achieve Rebecca’s ‘natural’  lighting look.  We will work through each stage of the newborn photography shoot, including set-up, soothing, posing transitions, prop selection and styling.  You will receive hands-on assistance to perfect your SOOC image, including camera settings, white balance adjustments, lighting choices and shooting angles. Throughout the day, Rebecca will share all her tips and tricks for easily settling babies to achieve a variety of poses in one session, which results in LARGE galleries and ultimately increases your business sales. Rebecca will also openly discuss business marketing, branding and pricing, including the pricing structure that she has found most effective for her studio.  The last section of the day is allocated to Photoshop – Rebecca will explain the retouching techniques she uses to achieve her clean and bright images.  Class size is limited as Rebecca strongly believes in providing an intimate learning experience to ensure one-on-one time with each attendee. All attendees will receive Rebecca’s Photoshop actions and birth announcement card templates,  as well as a range of discount codes and small gifts from the vendor sponsors. Attendees will also be invited to join a private facebook group with other past attendees, to provide on-going learning and support in your photography journey.

*Not open to photographers that already teach workshops or provide mentoring (including on-line mentoring/workshops) in newborn photography.

Rebecca is very active in this group, posting tips and tricks and image critiques. You will also have access to Rebecca’s personal photoshop actions and videos tutorials, including her wrapping videos and skin tone editing tutorial:

2:00pm – 3:30pm: Newborn Model: Floor/Prop Posing
3:30pm – 4:00pm: Q&A and de-brief [Afternoon Tea]
4:00pm – 5:00pm: Photoshop Re-Touching
