This session was a bit different for me as Logan’s mum and dad really wanted black and white images of their baby boy – the more traditional images on the black background.  While I often do one shot like this in a session, I was excited to plan the whole session around this theme.

So here is little Logan – classic, simple and timeless.

North Sydney Newborn Photographer | Zoe – 3 weeks old

The super beautiful little Zoe came to see me when she had just turned three weeks old.  Although it is a bit trickier to do a newborn session at 3 weeks, Zoe was just perfect. She was so happy to sleep during the first part of the session and we were able to snap some lovely images.  Zoe then curled up all snuggly again in her mum’s arms to conclude the session with family photos.  Such a beautiful family – so happy to have met you and to have photographed little Zoe.

North Sydney Newborn Photographer | Khloe

Tiny little Khloe certainly had some spirit and made us all work hard for her photos.  But it was totally worth it to be able to provide her mummy with images of this gorgeous little princess. I know that Khloe, her mum and grandmother had travelled a long journey to my Sydney newborn photography studio to capture these precious first baby photos – I hope they will treasure these images forever.

Now ……. the interview:-

Q.  When did you start APP Design and what prompted you to start selling your products?

I started exactly 2 years ago. First, my plan was to start newborn photography and when my first newborn arrived into the world, I made my very first prop. It was a simple beanie and wrap. Lately, I have fallen in love with making cute little outfits.  


Q.  Do you have a favourite product in your store at the moment?

Yes, I always do. Right now it is the “Otilia” Pale pink bonnet with matching tieback. I love PINK. My second favourite product is the “Cotton Candy” set, it also comes in a pink color 🙂 


Q.  Do you like using certain colours or fabrics? How would you describe your style?

I love to combine linen and lace. Colors that I like to work with are shades of pink and light brown. But I use a variety of colors and always choose natural products. My style? Between vintage and classic. 


Q.  We want to get to know you, so which are you:-  

Day/Night: hard to say, I love to sleep in the morning, love days in Summer time, but I like to work in late evenings.

Jeans/Skirt: jeans for sure.

White/Black: one time I liked black, one time white, but I don’t like to combine these two colors together.

Tea/Coffee:  BOTH! I love coffee as much as tea. If tea, I prefer fresh mint leaf tea.

Cat/Dog: I do not own any pets. But if I did, then a dog.

Sun/Moon: I’m impressed to watch sunsets, but I also like watching the moon, so ….

Beach/Forest: Beach for a long time. But for a short time I would choose the forest.

Indoor/Outdoor: Definitely outdoor.

Books/Movies: If I have a lot of time, I read books.

Walking/Swimming: walking.

Sweet/Sour: sweet:- tiramisu, any cheese cake, white chocolate, nutella, etc

North Sydney Family Photographer | Making Chocolate brownies!

I made a vow this year to not only take the studio portraits of my children, but also to grab my camera and capture more of the every-day moments.  

My daughter Alaina goes to pre-school four days a week – we have only one day that both Troy and Alaina are home together. So I try to make this day “fun”.  Today, we made chocolate brownies.  With only 6 months left before Alaina heads off to school, I know that I will love looking back on these images and remembering this day.
